Meet the Board Chairwoman Jennifer Dove

Over the past 20 years, Jennifer Dove has dedicated her professional life to creating access for and providing opportunities to low-income and minority populations. She understands that marginalized populations need staunch advocates to open the pathways to both equality and equity and she keeps this forefront in her mind in all the work she does.

Jennifer has an extensive background related to the issues of low income and minority populations, particularly women’s issues. As the owner and CEO of Woman Found, LLC, she has developed a company that provides access and opportunity for women to explore and create the lives they’ve dreamed of. A certified Life Coach, Consultant, TEDx Speaker and Author, Jennifer is a respected authority in her field. 

Additionally, Jennifer serves the Civil Rights Officer at a public transit agency in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, ensuring fair and equal treatment of all who utilize transit services. She has served as Vice President of Organizational Development of a Community Action Agency in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Additionally, she served as Director of the Childcare Subsidy Program in the state of Hawaii where she was responsible for overseeing the distribution of over $3M in childcare subsidy every month. A native of Caswell County, North Carolina, Jennifer holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and management. She currently resides in Virginia Beach, VA with her husband and their two children.
